mosquito hunter

how was the move, you ask? i have to say, we moved in like it's our job! took us no time at all, and i only managed to hurt myself a little bit. i guess when you move an average of five times over the course of a five year marriage, you get the hang of it. we haven't stayed there overnight because the gas isn't hooked up yet, but we have been there unpacking every night.

but, we seem to have a little bit of a mosquito problem in our new place. for some reason i am killing like 5-7 mosquitoes a night. they aren't biting me, since i am wearing winter clothes, but i assume that if it keeps up they will find little areas of exposure ripe for the biting.

for those of you who are not familiar with my relationship with our friend the mosquito, allow me to explain. i HATE those mother f'ing things more than anything on this beautiful green earth. they have absolutely no useful purpose other than to buzz in my ear as a i sleep, and to bite me and make me itch and swell up like an alien. i take them very seriously. i cannot sleep if they are in the room with me. i cannot think about anyhing else when i know one is present. that is why i am also known as the mosquito hunter. i have to admit, my skills at seeking out and killing these pests are unlike no other.

even though i am a magnificent mosquito hunter, i realize that i get a little crazy when i get the hunter mentality. i don't like how i get when i am obsessed with it. i know jim is ultra annoyed when i turn on all the lights at 3am, stand on the bed, and clap my hands and slam my fists against the ceiling. i guess it does sound a little ridiculous. so i figure the best thing to do is to find a way to get rid of them before we move in. any suggestions?
