two for the price of one?

i have felt enormous the last few days. the only thing logical explanation is that i must be having twins, right? the fact that i am only 9 weeks along and already have a pudgy belly can only be explained by the fact that there are TWO little beans in there, right? that is what i have been telling myself. it makes me feel so much better to think that it is because of two of them instead of the fact that i am just getting FAT from all of these blueberry pancakes i've been eating.

last night i went on a pregnancy blog and realized that every single pregnant woman feels the same way. we all must be convinced we are having twins because we just can't imagine that our bellies are supposed to be this big. and that they are going to get bigger! i swear, every single post said the same thing! "i'm nine weeks pregnant, but i look about 4 months. am i having twins?" i hear ya, sister.

tomorrow we go in for the sonogram where we will see and hear the bean for the first time. i am honestly hoping that the doctor will tell us we've got two beans instead of one, completely disregarding the fact that twins do not run in either of our families and i have no other symptoms of carrying twins. a girl can dream, can't she?
