hello, blogosphere. remember me?

to say that i have been an absent blogger is an understatement. i haven't even thought about it in the last ummmm, 6 weeks. i used to feel guilty but now i don't even think of it anymore. i think the only reason i did was because i downloaded some photos of soren today and thought, wow! these are great. i'll have to post these. POST these. where? oh yeah, that blog i used to have.

to say that i've been busy in the last 6 weeks is also an understatement. most of what i've been busy with is stupid, boring stuff. but there has been some drama: i quit my job, then jim quit his job and took another job, then i was offered part time, then i was told i couldn't have part time, then i found out i am going to be an aunt, then i went to the hospital for a weird brain thing, then i came back to work and they offered me working from home 2 days a week, then soren got sick, then my boss decided to spend an afternoon yelling at me, then i was going to quit all over again, then i decided to stay and now i am getting ready to go on vacation!

i'm too tired to go into everything, but just know that i'm good, jim's good, and soren's great. we are super excited to go to florida with jim's family this week. check him out:
