happy birthday soren!

we have just completed what i believe to be the world's longest birthday celebration for the world's most oblivious honoree - one year old soren.  i took the last week or so off of work to celebrate the amazing anniversary of his grand entrance into our world.  we had a wonderful friend, susanna, come to visit, watched soren take his first steps and give his first high five, took a trip to sedona, threw a front-yard kegger in honor of soren's birthday, and survived soren's first cold/flu as a toddler.  haven't slept a whole lot in the last week, but i've had a great time.
