home sweet home part deux

so we bought another house. one street north, same floor plan, cheaper, but stuck in the 80s. so we have a lot of remodeling to do. we actually bought it a while ago, and are set to close this week. i just never felt like writing about it because i was so sure it would fall through somehow. i guess i was just a little gun shy after the last house. but this one is way better than the last. it has only had two owners (hence the lack of updates), but you can tell it has been well cared for. also, lucky for us, the owners loved gardens. we have a magnolia tree, citrus, peach, pomegranate, kumquat - you name it, we've got it. plus a ton of huge planters with roses, flowers, and lots of weeds. we are really excited to move in and make it just how we want it.
